EVENT: Rosé Road Trip: From Provence to Properly Interesting

Brand: Flynn's Deli
25.00 GBP In stock Buy at Merchant

Rosé can get a slightly unfair reputation: sunny garden wine, holiday wine, easy drinking and not much else. But good rosé is far more interesting than that. It can be delicate, savoury, fruity, mineral, structured, sparkling, still, pale, dark, bone dry or quietly rich. Join us at Flynn’s for a guided tasting that looks beyond the clichés and explores what rosé can really do. Across the evening, we’ll taste a selection of rosé wines from different regions and styles, looking at how they’re made, why colour does not always tell the whole story, and what makes some rosés light and refreshing while others are built for food. There will, of course, be plenty of deli accompaniments from the shelves to enjoy alongside the wines — the sort of things rosé loves: cheese, charcuterie, olives, pickles, bread, preserves and seasonal little bits. Expect a relaxed evening around the table, useful tasting notes, plenty of conversation, and a few wines that might change how you think about pink. Your ticket includes: A guided tasting of rosé wines Deli accompaniments to enjoy alongside the tasting Notes on styles, regions and food pairings A relaxed evening hosted at Flynn’s Delicatessen This event is for over-18s only.
