LATE MEDIEVAL MAN'S SILVER FASHION RING, SIZE 11 1/4

15th-16th century AD. Women's size 11 ¼. 5.2mm width band with a rounded face, flared to the engraved shoulders. Stepped and raised oval bezel transversely oriented and cut with three ciphers, perhaps intended to be I H S. See Ancient Rings, Pollio, p.126 bottom. As found condition with rich patina and tested positive for silver alloy. Jewelry gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
