ORBITAL 30L DYNEEMA® CLIMBING BACKPACK

The Orbital Climbing Backpack is a grey 30L technical backpack constructed from advanced ripstop fabric reinforced with Dyneema® fibres for unmatched durability in demanding alpine conditions. Designed for mountaineering, ice climbing and multi-pitch ascents. Features integrated RECCO® rescue technology, an ice axe attachment, a detachable climbing helmet cover and a snow-shedding EVA back panel. The Orbital 30L is built around an advanced ripstop fabric incorporating Dyneema® woven into a polyester and nylon base construction at a precise 8% Dyneema®, 49% polyester, 43% nylon ratio. The result is a pack body engineered to resist tearing and abrasion at the points where rock, ice and climbing equipment will test it most. The main fabric body, which has a 9700 HH rating, has been treated with a PFC-free C0 durable water repellent (DWR) finish for reliable protection from rain, sleet and snow. The snow-shedding EVA back panel is a deliberate construction decision for winter ascents. Closed-cell EVA foam resists moisture absorption, preventing snow and ice from compressing and freezing against the contact surface — keeping the wearer warmer, drier and unencumbered by unnecessary weight gain on long approaches. Every feature on the Orbital 30L earns its place through function: ice axe attachment with bungee retention, a top cinching strap for rope management, a detachable climbing helmet cover, detachable compression straps for varied load configurations, and integrated RECCO® rescue technology for remote terrain. Tested to a 13kg load weight.
