Okumidori Matcha, 30g | Wazuka, Kyoto

One of our first direct imports from Mika and Ken, a sixth-generation tea farming family in Wazuka, Kyoto. We're really proud to be in partnership with Minato. This Okumidori cultivar is pleasant, round, and has a deep vegetal and sweet quality—think fresh, organic baby spinach from the farmer's market, slightly sweet as well. Medium-steamed (chuumushi) for balanced flavor that doesn't overpower. We see this matcha as an all-rounder suited to fit any and all of your needs: traditional koicha or usucha, matcha latte, or iced matcha latte. One matcha that does everything well.
