Since then, Roger has fronted his own band – in various guises over the decades. Roger has made albums with several bands during his long career – Roger Marks’ Armada Jazz Band which he led successfully for 42 years from 1975 to 2017 and its sister band Roger Marks’ Cornish Armada. Forays into the world of mainstream jazz produced albums from the Roger Marks’ Quartet, Quintet, Mainstreamers and Brass Farthings…….and so to the present where we have an exciting band to take things forward with Roger Marks’ Fiesta 5. Recorded at Plymouth Music Collective Studios, 10th March 2026. Band Personnel are Roger Marks trombone (except tracks 6 & 10), Nich White clarinet, flute, soprano and alto sax (except tracks 6 & 12), ,vocals tracks 10,13 & 14.
