The 2021 vintage was marked by balance and freshness, and this is reflected in a wine that is poised, transparent and beautifully detailed rather than overtly powerful. Aromas open with sour cherry, redcurrant and wild strawberry, layered with dried herbs, rose petal, tobacco and a subtle earthy undertone. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and finely structured, with bright acidity and gently gripped tannins giving shape and drive to the vibrant red fruit.
