Italian Black (Becnel's)
This is a Bordeaux fig that is on the late side, but is excellent. It is extremely complex and you can eat a lot of them without getting sick of them. Smooth black skin (with bloom sometimes), strawberry flesh. Very few splitting issues. I have had mixed success with this variety in the ground in the north east. This year it had very little dieback, but my first mother tree died after one year.
