Similar in shape to the Paris Platter, the Baker Oval has its own qualities — it's compact yet generous proportions make it ideal for sweet and savoury baking. Made from Limoges porcelain, sourced directly from France, the pigment in every MUD product is tinted through the porcelain body to provide colour-depth. Clear glaze is then hand brushed to the interior of each piece leaving the exterior with a vitrified stone-like surface that becomes smooth with handling. Irregularities in size, glaze & texture, reflect the many human touches received during the making process and should be embraced. Mud Australia considers Slate, Plum, Red, Orange, Wasabi, Yellow and Ink pieces as 'premium' colours, and are thus priced accordingly.
