Hube #8 ‘Connecting humanity to the future’ Chunky publication Hube (which takes its name from the words ‘human’ and ‘be’) explores the world around us through the lenses of art, architecture, fashion, philosophy, technology, and more. It’s a thick, well-produced bible of visual culture as it is now and how it might be in the coming decades. An interesting addition to the art/fashion/futures mix. Headlining this door stop of an eighth issue is a typically diverse mix of creatives: Italian satirical artist Maurizio Cattelan, Belgian fashion designer—and member of the notorious Belgian fashion collective ‘Antwerp Six’—Dries Van Noten, and genre-defying British-Nigerian singer Obongjayar, whose recent collaborations span the Little Simz single ‘Point and Kill’ and Fred Again’s ‘Adore U’. Hube sparks meaningful dialogues among thought-provoking thinkers and visionaries, cultivates new mindsets, and connects humanity to the future.
