19th C. Italian Renaissance Revival Iron Tall Cabinet

Italian Renaissance Revival walnut bookcase, late 19th century, featuring a richly detailed architectural form with egg-and-dart trim above dentil molding. The upper cabinet includes two doors fitted with wrought iron S-scroll panels, opening to reveal fixed-height interior shelving. A fluted columnar astragal divides the doors, adding a classical decorative accent. The lower case is fitted with two drawers and rests on platform bracket feet, completing the piece with a strong, refined presence. Condition: Good condition for the age of the piece. There are some dings, nicks, surface scratches, finish wear, and small areas of age-related wood separation throughout, most noticeable around the base, side panels, and edges. The iron grille panels show light patina and wear consistent with age. Red fabric backing/curtains remain present and display well with minor wear. Interior is clean and usable.
