OsteoGen Bone Grafting Plug
The OsteoGen® Bone Grafting Plug combines a resorbable calcium apatite bone graft with a collagen matrix to provide a simplified approach to socket preservation and ridge maintenance. By integrating graft material within a collagen scaffold, it enables controlled placement and defect coverage without the routine need for a separate membrane. The plug is composed of a bovine-derived collagen matrix combined with OsteoGen® bioactive resorbable calcium apatite, designed to mimic the organic and inorganic components of native bone. This structure supports osteoconduction while maintaining space during early healing. OsteoGen® is physicochemically and crystallographically similar to human bone, with a unique calcium-to-phosphate ratio distinct from β-TCP and dense ceramic hydroxyapatite. The material undergoes gradual resorption while supporting new bone formation. Distribution limited to the United States Details Packaging: Quantity Description One pack of 10.
