Tillandsia roseoscapa
Origins: Mexico Bloom: Long, simple inflorescence that is pink from top to bottom with yellow tubular flowers Ideal for: Outdoors Light: Partial direct to full sun Water: Spray or dunk once a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours. Soak monthly to rehydrate up to 2 hours as necessary This is a great species that grows quite slow; one collector in Australia waited 31 years for his to bloom for the first time! Upon a quick glance, looks a little like xerographica but the leaves are much shorter and do not recurve below the base of the plant. Roseoscapa can also handle more direct light than xerographica, taking on a nice pink blush with strong filtered light of partial direct light
