I-Defence Dry Eye Ointment

I-DEFENCE® is a long-lasting, lubricating night-time ointment for maximum relief of severe chronic dry eye. The unique viscous formula acts as a barrier against moisture loss and ensures prolonged contact-time with the ocular surface to provide long-lasting relief of dry eye symptoms such as soreness, irritation or a gritty sensation on the eyes. Containing 0.40% sodium hyaluronate, I-DEFENCE® is well-tolerated and delivers superior moisturizing and protection of the ocular surface. Features: Contains 0.40% sodium hyaluronate Immediate and long-lasting relief of dry eye symptoms Superior protection and lubrication of the ocular surface Reduces tear film evaporation Available Format: 5 g (0.18 fl. oz) tube, providing approximately 180-200 applications per tube Additional Information: I-DEFENCE® should be used within eight weeks of opening. Do not use I-DEFENCE® ointment with contact lenses. I-DEFENCE® is recommended for night-time use. Upon application, you may experience a foreign body sensation that will pass after several blinks. If used during the day, it is recommended that you do not drive a car or operate heavy machinery, as your vision may be blurry due to the consistency of the ointment. I-DEFENCE® is most effective when used at night while sleeping, which allows the ointment to remain on the ocular surface longer. Ingredients: Vaseline oil, vaseline, purified water, lanolin alcohol, sodium hyaluronate, potassium sorbate, monobasic potassium phosphate, sodium hydroxymethylglycinate, disodium phosphate, and sodium chloride.
