Borg Warner 1539-10020-30 EDM Engine Shutdown Module – Freightliner FLD / Detroit DDEC III

This Electronic Data Monitor (EDM) controls fan clutch operation and monitors engine shutdown for Freightliner FLD and FLB trucks with Detroit Diesel Series 50 and 60 DDEC III engines.

• The EDM connects to the DDEC III data link and fan request circuit.
• It monitors coolant temperature and oil pressure, and triggers engine shutdown if critical thresholds are exceeded.
