A Mid 19th Century Giltwood Open Armchair

The back with barley twist top and side supports and turned finials to the top. Acanthus leaf hand rests and barley twist arm supports. Raised on a pair of barley twist turned front legs and swept back legs with brass castors. The back, seat and arms are upholstered with the original horsehair with a new calico cover ready for a top fabric.
