F9 Impact Bass for Serum 2

Coming later in May 2026 I was getting absolutely fed up with scrolling through endless Serum 2 presets trying to find something solid through a never-ending collection of over-processed, over-modulated, thin, non-expressive presets with uncontrolled subsonics that swamp your mix and need a plugin-chain to make your eyes and CPU water just be useable. So we decided to fix it The market is awash with highly complex, flashy bass patches that sound impressive in isolation but ultimately fail in a real mix. F9 Impact Bass for Serum 2 provides the exact opposite: an indispensable collection of solid, powerful, and genuinely useful bass sounds for club and electronic producers. For years, we've been collecting RAW Analog waveforms at the F9 hybrid studios and in this release, we have integrated recordings from legendary classic analog synthesizers directly into Serum 2. Wavetable technology is amazing but it has one serious flaw - it can sound cold and lifeless as all of the inherent movement, jitter and micro-differences between each waveform cycle are missing and so far there's not been form of modulation present in WT synths that can replicate it. it often occurs at the sharp edges of the wave which ios hard to emulate, The moment Serum 2 added SFZ support we knew there was amazing potential to utilise our wavefrom collection to combat this, and hopefully you can see and hear here, the results are We are so proud of the results - in the audio demos above, only tiny frequency balance EQ moves were needed on the Serum bass instrument channel (with some additional sidechaining) to get the result you hear above How many Serum banks do you own that you can say that about ? Serum 2 by default bundles the samples used in library patches but does not gather up the SFZ ampping files that contain the mapping you will need to utilise them in your own sound Design work. Whilst this is handy to protect developers content, We have always wanted to hand as many tools as possible to our production community. We have found a way to include the SFZ files in this pack so that they are stored automatically and are ready for use instantly after installation in your own patch adventures. This means you can use them way beyond bass sounds.
