This painting unfolds through the collision of several autonomous gestures: a dense orange mass, a dark vertical compression, and a luminous yellow field. Rather than resolving into a balanced composition, these elements remain in tension, each asserting its own presence within an open ground. Scraped passages, stains, and abrupt directional marks allow the surface to breathe while preserving the immediacy of the gestures. The painting stops deliberately before harmony forms, holding the viewer in a moment where movement and structure are still negotiating their place. The result is a field of suspended energy—an image that feels caught just before it settles.
