First, I’ve significantly strengthened the gasoline and diesel note. The opening now delivers a sharper, more realistic rush of fuel. It feels modern, edgy, and incredibly true to the scent of fresh spilled diesel on warm asphalt, without ever crossing into harsh or chemical territory. Second, I’ve introduced a very special Koh Kohng Oud macerated with castoreum. This rare oud from Cambodia was left to slowly macerate with real castoreum, creating an animalic, leathery, almost feral depth that perfectly enhances the industrial leather tone running through the fragrance. The castoreum adds a warm, musky, slightly dirty edge that makes the leather feel richer, more worn-in, and dangerously seductive. The core DNA remains: bold gasoline and smoke up front, supported by strong oud, with a full 3 grams of pure oud per 15ml bottle. Pink pepper and cucumber still give that fizzy, cool contrast, while choya ral, costus root, tobacco, and Siberian deer musk continue to build the smoky, masculine backbone. Fossilized amber, sandalwood, vetiver, and cedar keep the drydown steady, woody, and long-lasting. Diesel v2 is stronger, smokier, and more animalic than the original, yet still remarkably wearable.
