Hand Forged Japanese Nakiri
Introducing our Hand-forged Japanese Aogami #2 Nakiri. The Handle What really makes this knife special is the handle. Made right here in-house by us, it’s crafted from recycled fish boxes (waste plastic) collected through our Scottish Harbour collection program. The boxes are collected, washed, shredded, and moulded. Each handle has a unique marbling effect, making your knife a one-of-a-kind. The handle is available in Navy Blue | Orange | Yellow | Green & Purple The Blade We’ve teamed up with skilled blacksmiths in Seiki, Japan, to handcraft each blade to our exacting specifications. Made from Aogami # 2 High Carbon steel. With a Rockwell rating of HRC 62 and a distinctive Kurouchi finish, this blade carries the marks of its fiery creation. Kurouchi, meaning "first black," gives the blade a rustic charm as it retains the blackened residue from the forging process—a true testament to craftsmanship Aogami # 2 Japanese Steel, Kurouchi Finish HRC 62 Recycled Waste Plastic Handle in Navy Blue | Red | Orange | Yellow | Purple British Made
