We loved hosting Kenny from Higa earlier this year on his mad dash across the US. A wonderful surprise. Our second lot from Businde is a Natural Anaerobic. This lot is produced exclusively by female small holders. We find lots of great acidity, Lemonade. Watermelon Candy and Milk Chocolate carry the sweetness. We are excited to work with Higa again this year. Businde is a great example of the coffees that they offer. Businde washing station empowers female coffee growers, when the field is dominated by men. They also pay much higher than than the norm, about 60% higher than the local average. Businde's owner Zuberi Matsitsi, is helping forster a wonderful specialty coffee growing community. Providing cherries for fertilizer and seedlings to growers in the area.
