Variety Mavrotragano (100%) Vintage 2022 Alcohol 14% Vinification Ferments with the grape skins for about 3 weeks and matures 12 months in amphoras. Bottled unfiltered without added sulphites. Winery Moschopolis Founded in 2016, Moschopolis is a private family vineyard in the village of Monopigado in the district of Thessaloniki. The vineyard has been in operation since 2001 and is located 500 meters above sea level, facing the mythical Mount Olympus. Over 10 hectares of vines with the following grape varieties: Mavrotragano, Xinomavro, Syrah, Pinot Noir, Assyrtiko and Malagousia. Tasting notes Aromas of sour cherry and violets with notes of blackberries, cranberries and hints a peppery finish. Pairing Great with sausages, kebab and beef with red sauces. Best served at 16°C.
