The watch translates the medieval legend into a modern mechanical timepiece, combining the Iron Wolf's raw strength with contemporary materials and horological craftsmanship. The distinctive composite dial with applied metal indexes is crafted from a blend of carbon fiber and luminous powder. During the day, its deep grey textured surface resembles the dense fur of the Iron Wolf. After dark, the entire dial transforms into an intense green glow, evoking the legendary spirit of the wolf emerging from the night and the mystical forests surrounding Vilnius city. This remarkable day-to-night transformation makes the dial not only an eye-catcher but also an essential storytelling element of the watch. The stainless steel case and integrated bracelet feature a surface pattern inspired by the coarse texture of a wolf's fur and are finished with a grey PVD coating. The luminous wolf head, printed on the inner side of the crystal, remains the signature design element of the Geležinis Vilkas series. As darkness falls, it appears to float above the dial with the shape of the castle at 6 o'clock, symbolizing the legendary dream of Grand Duke Gediminas. The Geležinis Vilkas (the Iron Wolf in English) is a mythical character from a medieval legend of the founding of Vilnius – the capital city of the old Grand Duchy of Lithuania and modern Republic of Lithuania. According to the legend, Grand Duke Gediminas (ca. 1275 – 1341) was hunting in the sacred forest where the Vilnia River flows into the Neris River. After the hunt, the Grand Duke fell asleep and dreamed of a huge Iron Wolf standing on top of a hill and howling as strongly and loudly as a hundred wolves. In the morning, the Grand Duke asked his pagan priest to interpret the dream. "What is destined for the ruler and the State of Lithuania is thus: the Iron Wolf represents a castle and a city which will be established by you on this site. This city will be the capital of the Lithuanian lands and the dwelling of their rulers, and the glory of their deeds shall echo throughout the world," the priest told him. Gediminas, obeying the will of goods, established the city named Vilnius, from the stream of the Vilnia River.
