Every winter, thousands of Demoiselle Cranes descend on the village of Khichan in Rajasthan. The villagers call them Kurja, and for centuries have fed and protected them as their own. The Kurja Pocket Square draws from the miniature painting tradition: the cranes rendered in fine detail on an ivory ground, in the style of the Indian miniature painters; and a deep navy border with Mughal arch motifs in the corners, a direct reference to the architectural and decorative vocabulary of the miniature tradition. A pocket square for the man who knows that the most exquisite things always have more than one layer. Material: Twill Silk Colour: Ivory, Navy and Red Size: 15 x 15 in. Please note that the colour of the product may vary slightly from what appears on your screen due to differences in monitor settings and lighting conditions.
