Japanese-Made DEHP-Free TPE Tubing for Advanced Cell Culture Manufactured from a high-quality thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), this tubing is free from DEHP—the plasticizer associated with leaching concerns in flexible PVC. Designed for cell and culture media applications, it is compatible with ultrasonic tube sealers for reliable sterile sealing.Compatible with ultrasonic tube sealers. Made with Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation’s medical-grade thermoplastic elastomer, Zelas™ series, and manufactured at a highly quality-controlled facility in Japan. Domestic production in Japan enables a stable and reliable supply. DEHP-free (di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate). Contains no DEHP, a plasticizer associated with leaching concerns in flexible PVC, helping to minimize material-related impact on cells and culture media. Compatible with both heat-welding sterile tube connectors and ultrasonic tube sealers, allowing secure connection and disconnection of tubing. Compatible with gamma irradiation sterilization at 25 kGy and autoclave sterilization. The product lineup focuses on small-bore tubing well suited for cell culture applications. Favorable cell proliferation has been confirmed compared with conventional PVC tubing. Its excellent flexibility and ease of handling make it ideal for fluid pathways in automated cell culture systems and other applications where routing can be challenging.
