Sao Filipe a Spanish Galleon of 800 tons

São Filipe was 800 ton galleon of the Portuguese navy which was part of the Squadron of Portugal which in turn was part of the Spanish armada. She was a typical ship of that size and very similar to São Mateus , São Luís and São Marcos. These were typical 800 ton galleons. All participated in the Armada. They were typical of so many galleons of this size and were the workhorses of the Spanish Empire.
