Minimalist 2010s Fendi by Karl Lagerfeld Black Strapless Long Silk Dress w Peplum Top

This is a gorgeous dress that dates to approximately the 2010s It was made under the creative direction of Karl Lagerfeld The dress is made out of a simple black silk that is light in weight with just enough structure to hold the intended shape. The bodice is strapless with a double panel of black silk that wraps around the entire bodice to create a the feel of a corset peeking out from underneath the top layer. The very top layer is only attached at points on the edge on the neckline so it folds over slightly to create a pretty detail. It is meant to be more fitted over the bodice and then nips in with a wide band of the same fabric around the waist. It curves back out over the hips and has an extra panel of fabric that falls over the sides of each hip to create a peplum. As the skirt nears the hem it flares out around you for a very pretty line. It is perfectly minimalist and yet still feels like it makes a statement. The dress has built-in light boning along each side. It closes with a hidden set side zipper and is fully lined in a black silk. It has its original hangtag attached and was never worn.
