Yes. It arrives cooked and ready to serve β carve it straight from the fridge for a cold spread, or warm it through if you want it hot. There's nothing you have to do to it. Smoked or honey roast β which should I choose? Smoked is the deeper, more savoury of the two, with the character coming from our smokehouse. Honey roast is sweeter and milder, and tends to be the one children go for. Both are the same free range Blythburgh pork, cured the same way. What's the difference between this and your gammon? Both come from the hind leg of the pig. Our gammon is cured and sold raw, for you to boil and glaze at home. This ham has already been cured, smoked and cooked by us β it's the same cut, finished and ready to eat. How long does it keep, and can it be frozen? Your ham arrives with a minimum of 7 days shelf life. Over Christmas, best before dates run until at least the 26th on everything delivered during the period. It can be frozen, though we wouldn't advise it β a cooked ham is at its best fresh, and it will keep comfortably across the Christmas week in the fridge. Where does the pork come from? From Blythburgh Free Range Pork in Suffolk β pigs born and raised outdoors all year round on natural grassland.
