Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600m 45.5mm 2200.50 Perhaps one of the toughest tool watches to come out of Omega, the Planet Ocean in steel is an absolute beast both in spec, and in it’s wrist presence. Featuring a 45.5mm case made of steel with a monstrous 600m of water resistance, it houses an inky black dial with applied numerals for 12, 6 and 9, with 'Seamaster' text in orange to match the orange-tipped seconds hand for a classic Planet Ocean aesthetic. It’s topped with a steel bezel with black aluminium insert that operates uni-directionally, and is powered by the technically brilliant Co-Axial 2500 movement. It comes mounted to the excellent Planet Ocean steel bracelet, and also includes a an Omega black rubber strap which looks fantastic and is super comfortable. This particular example would date from circa-2007 and presents in TZ 'Good' condition. Has been worn regularly, and the case shows scratches and scuffs, as well as some small nicks and pin dents. The left side of the case shows a ding on its lower edge. Bezel insert shows scratches and small nicks. The lugs also show strap change marks. Seconds hand tip has faded to a very light orange. Anti reflective coating shows marks. Please see photos for full condition details. The bracelet is fully linked, and shows some minor stretch as well as scratches/scuffs throughout. The rubber strap shows some cracking near the tail-end, but still has some life left. Service history is unknown. Currently timing at around +6 seconds a day at 300+ degrees of amplitude measured dial up on a timegrapher, and all functions operating as they should. No box or papers. Comes with the Omega rubber strap, Watch Vault Travel Pod, and Watch Vault cleaning cloth. A fantastic daily-wearer that you don't need to be careful with, and huge value for the money.
