Very rare and collectible!! Bunnahabhain 12 Year Old (1980s Bottling) is a rare vintage Islay single malt Scotch whisky from one of the island's most distinctive distilleries. Bottled during the 1980s at 43% ABV, this original distillery release represents the classic Bunnahabhain style of the era—rich, unpeated and wonderfully maritime. Unlike many Islay malts, it focuses on honeyed malt, orchard fruits and gentle coastal character rather than heavy peat smoke. Presented in the iconic old-style bottle, this discontinued expression has become increasingly sought after by collectors of vintage Scotch and enthusiasts of classic Islay whisky. Tasting Notes Nose: Honey, beeswax, ripe orchard fruits, vanilla, toasted nuts, subtle sea breeze and polished oak. The old bottling develops elegant tropical fruit notes with time in the glass. Palate: Rich, oily malt with pineapple, peach, apple, marzipan, soft caramel, gentle coastal salinity and a touch of earthy spice. Smooth and beautifully integrated with very little peat influence. Finish: Medium to long, silky and warming with lingering honey, soft fruit sweetness, delicate oak and a subtle maritime freshness.
