Victorian Model Or Desk Carronades Dated 1848

A Pair Of 19th Century Model Or Desk Ships Carronades On their pleasantly aged wood and brass slide mounts with iron barrels stamped 12 (probably indicating 12 Pounders). By loosening a nut on the underside of the mounts, the guns can be slid forward and backwards and swivelled to the left and right. The mounts are stamped with the date 1848. Barrel lengths 6cm, Overall lengths 13.5cm
