14 oz. Nerikomi Mug

A lovely earth toned mug with a generous handle. Layers of colored porcelain clay were stacked together to create the nerikomi pattern. I took thin slices of the cane and inlaid them into speckled clay. The slab of inlaid clay was hand built into a mug and shaped on the wheel. The handle and bottom also have the nerikomi pattern. This is a listing for one mug, yet three are available. Each holds 14 ounces and all glazes are microwave/dishwasher safe.
