This 3-Bottle Chemicals Combo Pack includes everything you need to add stunning finishes to your soldered pieces: 1 - 8 oz Bottle of Old Masters Liquid FLUX (Water-soluble for easy cleanup) 1 - 8 oz Bottle of Copper Patina 1 - 8 oz Bottle of Black Patina These patinas are perfect for changing silver-colored solder to either a rich copper or deep black finish, adding a professional touch to your stained glass, jewelry, or metal art projects. For Best Results: After soldering, wipe the finished solder with 0000 (super fine) steel wool. Clean the surface with a non-ammonium cleaner (avoid glass or window cleaners). A spray bottle filled with inexpensive alcohol or a flux remover works great. Apply the patina with a clean acid/flux brush. Clean the surface again to remove any excess. Finish by applying a metal polish, car wax, or specialized solder finishing compound to shine and protect the patina-treated solder. For an Antique Look: To achieve a unique antique finish, alternate between Black and Copper Patina. After soldering, steel wool the solder with 0000 super fine wool, clean the piece, and apply black patina using a clean acid/flux brush. Go over the solder again with steel wool to lighten the black patina, clean again, and apply copper patina. This process will allow you to create a beautiful, antique appearance, perfect for a one-of-a-kind look on your projects.
