As they are native to the Northern Territory and New Guinea, they have been a food source for locals in this area for generations. They are hunted by the locals at billabongs and rivers, they make good tucker. This artwork has been purchased directly from an Aboriginal artist in Kakadu National Park or Arnhem Land.
