Window Flower Box, Plein Air Original Painting

Window Flower Box - Original Painting on Paper 'Window Flower Box', This piece was painted 'en plein air' (on-site) at Moor Water Gardens here in Port Stanley. Even though there are lots of wonderful water flowers to paint, I was drawn to this old window with brightly colored magenta flowers. I set up my easel... and over the course of a couple hours worked on capturing this scene. I love how it turned out!! Since it was painted directly on-site, the sun kept appearing and then disappearing, as with all plein air paintings the shadows kept changing.
