Graco Wide Low Pressure Airless Spray Tips Graco Neon WR (WideRAC) WRLP spray tips are built for high-volume work where speed and finish quality matter. By spraying at around half the usual pressure while producing an extra-wide fan pattern up to 60 cm, WRLP tips help you cover large areas with fewer passes – often cutting application time significantly on big interior and exterior jobs. Ideal for residential and commercial spraying, WRLP tips deliver a softer, more controllable spray fan with reduced overspray, meaning less masking, less mess and faster clean-up. You get a consistent, blended finish across walls, ceilings, cladding and other large surfaces – with less strain on your sprayer. Key benefits: Extra-wide 60 cm fan pattern for rapid coverage on large surfaces. Up to 2x productivity with fewer spray passes. Reduced overspray = less prep time and less clean-up. Lower pressure spraying extends tip life (spraying at half pressure can double tip life). Reduced sprayer wear and lower maintenance over time. SmartTip technology: internal tip geometry helps atomise coatings with less pressure for a cleaner finish. Works with any airless sprayer, with SmartControl support on select Graco machines. Easy size identification: large raised numbers stay readable, even when paint covered. Secure fit and fast reversal: locking tab keeps the tip seated; snaps into spray or reverse position. OneSeal gasket installs with no tools (solvent seal available for very hot solvents). Why choosing the right spray tip matters: Your spray tip affects profit just as much as the sprayer itself. The right tip can: reduce paint usage and overspray. improve control and finish quality. shorten job time. protect your pump by keeping the sprayer working efficiently. How airless tips work (simple explanation): Airless sprayers pressurise paint (up to around 350 bar) and force it through the tip’s small orifice. That turns the paint into a controlled fan pattern – similar to putting your thumb over the end of a garden hose to create spray. Your sprayer produces: pressure + flow. Your tip defines: fan width + spray volume. How to choose the right WRLP tip size: Fan width (first digit): Fan width is based on spraying at 30 cm from the surface. Example: a “5” = 50° spray angle. Multiply by 5 ? 25 cm fan width. Orifice size (last two digits): Controls how much paint flows through the tip. Example: “17” = 0.017" (approx 0.43 mm). Higher pressure = more flow. Heavier paints = less flow. Important: never exceed your sprayer’s maximum supported tip size. Tip wear: the hidden cost that kills profit: Spraying with a worn tip is like drilling concrete with a blunt drill bit: it takes longer, works harder, and the result looks worse. A worn tip can cause: more overspray and higher paint use. slower progress on the job. poor, uneven finish. increased strain on your sprayer (and you may accidentally exceed its output limits). Replacing tips on time is almost always cheaper than paying for the extra labour and wasted paint.
