Remnant 827, Merchant & Mills, "Pippa" Organic Cotton/Linen Gingham, 10" bolt end

A warm white and ochre yellow gingham. This cloth would make beautiful skirts, dresses, tops and shirts. It would also be suitable for lightweight curtains. 4.5oz / 151gsm. 148cm / 58in wide. 88% organic cotton, 12% linen. Pre-washed at the mill. Check size: 1.2cm. These cotton-linen fabrics are sometimes susceptible to irregularities in the weave or print, this is all part of their charm and are not classed as flaws. For the first couple of washes, Merchant & Mills recommends placing the fabric in the washing machine drum at 30 or 40 degrees with a handful of table salt. This will help fix the dye to prevent it running.
