The Harvest Bench is made from solid Winnipeg elm and designed with a clean, understated profile. Its long rectangular seat rests on four substantial outward-angled wood legs, giving the bench a stable stance and a distinctive handcrafted appearance. The 1½"-thick benchtop features softly eased edges for comfortable everyday seating. Carefully selected boards showcase the elm’s expressive grain and create a balanced surface. Natural characteristics may include knots and unique grain, with voids stabilized using epoxy where required. Choose a Raw stain to preserve the elm’s light, natural appearance or a Cognac stain for a deeper, warmer tone. The solid wood legs are finished to match the benchtop, and both options are protected with a durable, low-sheen hardwax oil finish. Each Harvest Bench is made to order in Winnipeg from recycled elm boulevard trees. Natural differences in grain, colour and character mean that every bench will vary slightly from the one pictured. The overall design can be replicated, but every finished bench is one of a kind.
