The pink runs through the glass itself, and a bark-like texture runs the length of every tube. Light catches on each ridge and picks up the colour as it travels down the glass, so the chandelier throws a soft, rosy glow across the room — the most flattering light there is for faces, skin and a set table. Switched off In daylight the tubes read as pale rose glass, deeper where the tiers overlap and almost clear at the edges. It brings a quiet note of colour to a room even when nobody has touched the switch. Switched on Light travels down every cylinder and picks up the pink, so the ceiling and walls take on a soft blush wash. The texture keeps the bulbs out of focus, and the glow is warm rather than sugary. Bulbs, and dimming The fixture takes E12 or E14 bulbs, 40W maximum each. Warm white around 2700K keeps the pink rosy and warm; cool white pulls it towards lilac and makes it look cold. Want it dimmable? Buy bulbs printed “dimmable” on the box — most budget E12 LEDs are not. Use an LED-rated wall dimmer. An old dimmer built for incandescent bulbs is the usual cause of flicker and buzz. Check the box rating first Seventy pieces of glass make this a heavy fixture. Your electrician should confirm the ceiling junction box and bracket are rated for the weight before anything goes up. Kill the circuit At the breaker, not just the wall switch. Set the chain Remove or add links until the bottom of the glass sits where you want it, then fix the bracket. Wire it in Live, neutral and ground, then lift the canopy up tight to the ceiling. Glass last Hang the cylinders row by row once the frame is secure, working from the top tier down, then fit the bulbs. A chain-hung fixture is the easy case: the chain hangs plumb on its own, so the chandelier stays level however steep the ceiling is. It needs a sloped-ceiling adapter at the canopy, which we supply on request. Measure the drop from the lowest edge of the canopy, not the peak.
