Iona Pearl Studs

The Iona Pearl Studs place a freshwater pearl within an irregular frame of polished gold. Inspired by the organic interior of an oyster shell, the fluid contours give the traditional pearl a more sculptural, contemporary setting. Light moves across the high-shine surface before meeting the pearl’s natural lustre, creating contrast between polished metal and organic form. As freshwater pearls form naturally, subtle variations in shape, surface and lustre make every pair individual. Crafted from stainless steel with 14-carat gold PVD plating and freshwater pearls. The metal setting is resistant to water, sweat and tarnishing; to preserve the pearls, avoid showering, swimming and direct contact with perfume or lotions.
