This is exquisite needlework in silk, circa 1910-1920, depicting "Simplicty", a famous 18th century painting by Sir Joshua Reynolds of his great-niece Theophila Gwatkin. The detail is mesmerising and it is framed beautifully behind glass with black mount and gilded, ebonised frame.
