Wheel I: Intro to Throwing w/ Katey <br>Wednesdays, September 23rd- October 28th, 2026 <br>6:00-9:00PM

This class is an awesome jumping-off point to learn the fundamentals of working with clay on the wheel. You will learn how to wedge clay and center on the wheel, as well as throwing foundational forms like mugs, small vases, and bowls. You will also learn trimming and glazing techniques to complete your pieces. This class is perfect for anyone looking to explore the endlessly rewarding craft of making pottery. Whether you’re completely new or looking to refine your skills, Katey offers a supportive environment to create beautiful and unique ceramics. Clay is provided and we will take care of firing your finished work. Students are encouraged to bring their own tools if they have them. Tool kits are also available for purchase at the studio.
