Screen Printing Refresher Skills – 3 Weeks – Autumn/Winter Term 2026

Over three Wednesday mornings, create your own exposed screen to make a layered print for either paper or fabric. We will go through the different ways of creating screen-ready artwork, screen prep, the exposure process and layering. We will practice squeegee technique and troubleshoot print problems. This workshop is perfect for anyone with an interest in screen printing and is ready to go to the next stage by exposing screens, or those who have screen printing experience but want to broaden their understanding and hone printing skills. For more introductory screen printing skills, join our Back to Basics Workshop. 10am - 1pm for 3 Wednesdays: Wednesday 4th November Wednesday 11th November Wednesday 18th November Papers, inks and equipment will be provided. Please bring fabric (or purchase on the day) if needed. Do you need more time to finish your print? The studio is usually available after the workshop has finished for open access studio time – pay £5 per hour to stay and work independently.
