The Last Drop Signature Creation Release No 40 Tequila Extra Anejo

The Last Drop Distillers of London is an independent curator of ultra-rare spirits, founded in 2008 by industry icons Tom Jago and James Espey to unearth forgotten, world-class casks from the back of the world’s most storied warehouses. Known as No. 40, this release marks the brand's first-ever tequila and its fourth Signature Creation, crafted in partnership with master tequilera Carmen Villarreal of Casa San Matías. The spirit is a blend of three casks—two aged for ten years in ex-bourbon barrels and one aged for seven years in a Port pipe—yielding a final liquid far exceeding the extra añejo aging minimums. This highly limited global release consists of only 435 bottles, bottled at a higher-than-usual 92.6 proof / 46.3% ABV.
