Original Oil Pastel Landscape

Vibrant and stunning original river landscape painting done in oil pastels. The local Dallas artist, Rita Hendricks, used beautiful impressionistic strokes and intricate layers to create depth and shadow in a lovely rolling cloud skyline above the mountain range. She also started with a yellow underlayer before building the scene, which gives the whole piece a wonderful, warm glow. Finished on canvas board. Measures 15" h x 30" w **Note: Oil Pastels can transfer color, so this piece will need to be framed to hang, and glass or low glare glass is recommended to protect it.
