Maçanita Touriga Nacional em Rosé 2023

CONCEPT: Brother and Sister, both winemakers, friends and business partners for more than 18 years and 15 wineries. Pursuing an old dream of a joint wine venture, this was how Mac?anita Vinhos was “born”. Touriga Nacional, our flagship grape varietal, presents itself in all its floral and aromatic splendour. A true Touriga Nacional, but in rose. ORIGEM: 50% Cima Corgo: 25% at 200m altitude and 25% at 540m altitude; 50% Baixo Corgo at 750m altitude. VINIFICATION: All bunches are inspected for quality on a sorting table before they are gently crushed and moved by gravity into temperature controlled stainless steel vats. Following a maceration period of 3 to 6 hours, the lightly colored juice is run off the skins and fermented at 12° to preserve the full aromatic expression of the wine. TASTING NOTES: Light pink color with cherry notes and a very intense matured strawberry nose. In the mouth suprises with its freshness and texture.
