The kit includes an alarm output, stainless steel probe, adjustable compression fitting, and weld bung with matching plug for custom installations. Blue LED 4 digit EGT gauge display. Alarm output for temperature monitoring setup. Selectable Celsius or Fahrenheit display. Stainless steel 304 EGT probe for high temperature exhaust environments. Fiberglass braided cable with stainless steel overbraiding. Compact gauge size for space conscious custom panels. Common Faults & Replacement Symptoms Use this EGT exhaust gas temperature gauge kit when an existing exhaust temperature display is unreadable, unstable, or no longer powering on. A damaged EGT probe or worn sensor lead can cause missing or inaccurate exhaust gas temperature readings in custom monitoring systems. A failed alarm output on an existing EGT gauge may prevent the driver or technician from receiving a temperature warning signal. Loose or corroded probe wiring can cause intermittent temperature display behavior and should be inspected before replacing the gauge kit. This product is not supplied as a replacement for OEM diagnostic sensor part number and is not intended to clear engine fault codes by itself.
