This conspiracy would ultimately lead to the divine intervention that would bless Conan's blade with the mark of the phoenix. If The Phoenix on the Sword is the beginning for King Conan, The Hour of the Dragon bookends his story as Howard's only Conan novel. This tale follows an overthrown Conan and the introduction of Zenobia, a slave who would become his queen. Ages 12 and up.
