Imperial Kagoshima Batch 004

Imperial Kagoshima Batch 004 brings the bold, sun-rich character of southern Japan to our Imperial collection. Sourced from Kagoshima and blended from four complementary cultivars -- Yutakamidori, Yabukita, Saemidori, and Asatsuyu -- it was processed and refined by our partner producer in Fukuoka using 100% first-flush, stone-milled tencha. This matcha is one of our founder, Axel's, current favorites and boasts one of the most unique flavor profiles we've seen recently. Both savory and sweet, it's fired yame style with strong nutty notes, and features the most surprisingly delicious flavor note we've seen in past years: buttered popcorn -- trust us here!
