Shade tolerant and even adaptable to mostly sun with adequate moisture, this wildflower thrives in most garden conditions. Green & Gold will not be a bully in the garden, but will spread modestly over time by reseeding and spreading clumps. Rabbits will eat the flowers, but there are generally enough to go around once you have an established patch. 'Pierre' is a cultivar selected for its long flowering period.
