TUDCA, short for tauroursodeoxycholic acid, is a water-soluble bile acid naturally produced in small amounts in the body. Historically, TUDCA was associated with traditional Chinese medicine and was originally sourced from bear bile. Double Wood’s TUDCA is synthetic and not animal-derived.
